JadeDome successes:
SAFEGUARDING TOOLKIT FOR FAITHS: proposed by JadeDome to Sandwell Council's Sandwell Safeguarding Children Board (SSCB) in November 2010 that was developed in conjunction with Inclusive Muslim Action Group (IMAN) successfully published and launched on 22nd November 2012 in Sandwell at the newly built 'The Public' building' with extensive guidance and input from Imam Ghulam Rasool who led on this initiative on behalf IMAN. The launch event was combined with a Safeguarding Training Workshop for Mosque trustees, management, teachers and Imams facilitated by JadeDome.
CITIZENSHIP LIBRARY FOR PLACES OF WORSHIP: a common Citizenship Library to complement the gap in the current lack of English resources available at Sandwell Mosques and Madrassah's. This initiative was proposed and led by JadeDome in conjunction with Sandwell Council from January 2010 that resulted in 18 Mosques across Sandwell Borough from varying denominations and ehnic backgrounds receiving £1000.00 worth of library books. Mosque leaderships and Imams were grateful for this innovative initiative as it equips their organisations with essential resources to effectively deal with challenging contemporary issues with quality reading materials especially in English catering for all ages assisting in combating ignorance, extremism, misrepresentation and ideological fanatics. JadeDome vetted and compiled the book lists then brokered a deal with an international supplier to source and provide these books at discount prices to maximise the available resource. In March 2010 book stalls were invited from other suppliers to showcase their material at the 'Park Inn Hotel' in West Bromwich that was extensively attended by Sandwell Mosques and Madrasahs teaching and management staff.
MOSQUES DIRECTORY: proposed by JadeDome in April 2010 that led to all the Mosques in Sandwell been mapped and collated with key contacts identified updating the Sandwell Council'S places of worship and community organisations lists and adopted by Inclusive Muslim Action Network (IMAN) to maintain.
